How to give

Giving takes a few minutes. Here is exactly how it works, whether you give as an individual, a couple, or a business.

Ways to give

Choose how you'd like to give

Anyone in the United States can give, and every dollar goes to scholarships and support for Anchorage kids.

As an individual

Up to $1,700

Starting in 2027, a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit offsets your gift, up to $1,700 per person.

Give $1,700

As a married couple

Up to $3,400

On a joint return, each spouse qualifies for up to $1,700, for a household total of $3,400.

Companies & additional gifts

Giving as a company, or giving more?

Corporations and businesses can get started now and help fund our gap scholarships.

Corporate gifts and gifts above the federal credit limit are standard charitable donations. They are used for gap scholarships, including college assistance (which the federal credit cannot cover), and for any additional education needs that fall outside the qualifying federal credit requirements.

There is no cap on corporate giving. Ask your tax advisor how it applies to you.

Does it really cost nothing extra?
